Most people don't like asking for money.  I've heard many people give the excuse that they feel called to the mission field but don't feel "called" to raise money.  While in a few select cases that excuse might be true, most of the time I simply question whether they believe in what they want to do.  If  someone believes in what they are doing, they do whatever it takes to make it happen.  Sometimes that means humbling themselves, admitting they can't accomplish it on their own, and asking others to help them make it possible.  Besides, if they truly believe in what they are doing, why wouldn't they want others to be a part of it?  God is doing great things through the Microfinance Site here in the Dominican Republic and I hope that you would pray and consider being a part of it.

"I thank my God every time I remember all of you.  In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."
